About Susie
Movement rooted in intention.
The why behind every class — and how Susie ended up teaching online Pilates.

Meet Susie
Susie is a Balanced Body certified mat Pilates instructor with a yoga foundation. She came to Pilates through yoga — completing her 200-hour teacher training first, and currently working toward her 500-hour advanced certification by the end of the year.
That yoga foundation shapes how she teaches Pilates. Every class is built around breath, awareness, and intentional sequencing — meeting bodies where they actually are, not where the textbook says they should be. The tight hips from sitting all day. The cranky shoulders from carrying kids. The injuries that never quite fully healed.
Susie built Stretch with Susie to bring an attentive, personalized practice to clients wherever they are. The live classes stay small, the library stays curated, and the focus stays on quality movement over quantity of content.
“I want every member to leave knowing exactly what they did and why — and feeling the difference.”
Philosophy
Intelligent over intense. Every movement has a reason. You won't leave a class wondering why you did something — you'll leave knowing exactly what it was for and feeling the difference.
Accessible, not easy. Pilates should challenge you. It shouldn't hurt you. Modifications are celebrated. Progress is measured in how you feel, not how you look.
Consistency over perfection. Showing up regularly beats one perfect session. The library is built so you can find the right intensity and the right focus — every time you show up.
